Hi, I’m Naomi, the Head Teacher of the Seeds classroom at Flourish Montessori Learning Academy.

Hi, I’m Naomi, the Head Teacher of the Seeds classroom at Flourish Montessori Learning Academy.
I feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Flourish community and to call the Bow Valley home. I look forward to sharing a love for nature, exploration, and connection while supporting children and families throughout their journey within our program.
Growing up in a large family with 27 younger cousins, I developed a deep love for working with children from a very young age. Those early experiences helped shape my passion for creating environments where children feel supported, valued, and develop a genuine sense of belonging.
After graduating high school, I completed my Early Childhood Education diploma at Mohawk College, followed by a year in Child and Youth Studies at Western University. I am currently continuing my education through the Bachelor of Education program at University of New Brunswick.
I have been working with children for over seven years, including four years within Montessori environments. Throughout this time, I have developed a deep appreciation for the Montessori philosophy and for the meaningful relationships that are built between educators, children, and families. I am passionate about guiding children with patience, respect, and care while nurturing their independence, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.
I am so excited to be part of the Flourish Montessori community and to grow alongside the children and families in the Seeds classroom.
